In an article published in the September issue of People & Fitness, Sara Rue announced her plan to drop 50 pounds by next summer. The former Big Bang Theory star has shed four dress sizes since Dec. 2021, when she signed on as a Jenny Craig spokesperson. Since then, she has lost another fifty pounds, going from a fit six pack to fit ten. She recently shared the results of her plan with People & Fitness, saying she's feeling great and feeling even better thanks to a special exercise DVD.

"I always thought it would be difficult for me to lose weight. When I started doing the Jenny Craig program, I didn't think I could do it. But I did. It was the hardest part, actually, because I thought I couldn't lose that much weight."

Sara Rue made her first time appearance on the People & Fitness cover in May 2021. At the time, she was promoting her own line of diet beverages called Healthy Dance. She had lost weight since her first appearance, but this time she wanted to share her story with the public. "The Jenny Craig Weight Loss Program helped me get my body in shape.
